It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sister at the age of 93 years, on May 10, 2012.
Mary was born in Elphinstone, MB, the eldest of nine children and at an early age moved with her parents to Strathclair, MB. Upon completing her education she moved to Winnipeg.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, William and Joanna Kulchycki and by her husband of thirty-four years, Alfred. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Louis, Bohdan; by her sister, Elsie Hannaford and by her sister-in-law, Jean.To mourn her passing are her brothers, Adam, Alex (Pat), and Harry; her sisters, Margaret Waters and Sophie Ingels; her sister-in-law, Margaret; three step-children, Rick, Barry (Jean) and Wendy (Bryan) Thomas, as well as five step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Mary treasured her family and friends and took great pride in their accomplishments. She was a kind and caring person, one who was always ready to help those in need in any way she could.
Mary was employed as a manageress by several ladies fashion stores in Winnipeg and Montreal. After retiring from her work as the manageress at Dallards, an exclusive women’s fashion store, she and Alfred travelled extensively through Europe and spent part of the winters in the Caribbean.
