Obituary for Sheryl Clyde
The family and friends of Sheryl Clyde are sad to announce her passing on June 2, 2012. Sheryl passed away at Stonewall Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
She is survived by her devoted husband Bill Clyde, her daughter Megan (Keith, Madison and Mylie), her son Andrew (Lana), her daughter Heather (Tyler) and her daughter Caitlyn. She is also survived by her brother and sister Jodi Roney and Rob Nesbitt and families.
Sheryl predeceased by her mother and father, Palmer and Gwen Nesbitt and brother, Scott Nesbitt.
Mom was born in Winnipeg MB, and then moved to Treherne with her family. The family moved to Thompson then eventually settled in Neepawa. Sheryl and Bill met while growing up in Neepawa. They were married on November 1st, 1980 in Winnipeg MB. They settled in Stonewall where they began to raise their family. She loved to be outside and garden and spend time with her horses. In 1994 the family moved to a small acreage outside Balmoral. Sheryl worked for 15 years as the South Interlake Seniors Resource Coordinator where she enjoyed helping people.
Funeral services will be held Friday June 8, 2012 at 2:00 pm at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Stonewall, MB. A family internment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Care MB, 1018-675 McDermot Ave. Winnipeg MB, R3E 0V9.
A special thank-you to Dr.Ade and the staff at Cancer Care Manitoba for their continued support through Sheryl’s illness. Thank you to the staff at Stonewall Hospital.
