Obituary for Jacquelyn Gladding

On 27 August, 2011 at home Jacquelyn entered eternal life.

Jacquelyn was predeceased by her son Peter and brother Thomas.

She is survived by her loving husband Robert; daughter Anne-Marie (Stefan) Raszewski; granddaughter Pauline LaBlanc & fiance James Selnyk; step-granddaughter Chrystal Raszewski (Steven Perpete) and three step-great grandchildren; sister-in-law Marjorie Murison (widow of Thomas); brother John (Lois) Murison; sister Sylvia (Timothy) Buck and many nieces and nephews.
Jacquelyn was born and raised in the Muskoka District of Ontario and was employed by Ontario Hydro in the Georgian Bay Region (in Huntsville) and later in Toronto. In 1954 she married Robert whose engineering career took them from Toronto to London, England; The Hague, Netherlands; London, Ontario; St. John’s, Newfoundland; Windsor and Markham, Ontario and, in 1985, to Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Through the years Jacquelyn was a volunteer at school, church, hospital and was an Associate of the Grey Nuns.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 1 at St. John Brebeuf Church, 1707 John Brebeuf Place with Fr. Mark Tarrant presiding. Interment of ashes will follow at Brookside Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Boniface Hospital Research Foundation, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, R2H2A6.
